Project Summary
The main goal is to build a car of the future, but we understand, that is a very big task. So, we’re taking it in steps. The first phase is to trade in my BMW 330i M Sport, buy a G80 M3 and redesign/rebuild all the body panels, redesign the interior and make it what everybody wanted the Modern M3 to look and feel like. This part (Phase 1) will take 12 months to complete. We need R5 million to get going and we will auction/sell the 1 of 1 collector’s edition M3 for R18 000 000 ($1 million). We will pay the investor R8 million plus a stake in Phase 2 and 3. We will keep the rest to fund the second phase. Unfortunately I can’t reveal much here and the only way to get the full vision/idea is to contact me.

With an investment of only R5 million, you stand to make R8 million plus 25% equity (negotiable) and since Phase 2’s Net Profit will be R600 million, you stand to make way more.

The end goal is to establish a car brand that can compete with the likes of China in innovation. We will also be learning from all the mistakes the legacy automakers have made. We are big on research, there is very little chance of us getting this wrong.
Importance of the Proof-Of-Concept (Phase 1)
No one in their right mind is going to believe that a Product Designer who has never designed/redesigned a car, has the potential to build a car of the future. The proof of concept is to showcase my vision and how far my imagination can go. I’m a big car enthusiast and I chose the M3 as the project car because I love BMWs, in fact I love the brand, that’s why I work for them. Also, this will get people talking. The car has a huge following. Imagine all the content that we will create for it and imagine all the reaction videos and reviews from other Youtubers when they see it.

I have assembled a team of experts and I have also spoken to strategic partners like the guys at ADRO so that we don’t have to figure out the manufacturing part, they have done it before. Only difference is that they only do body kits.
We are doing the entire car. I have also done all the numbers, including the cost of everything that will be needed to bring the project car to life. We’ve also started working on the 3D models of the car (Only the potential investors will get to see those). Basically we’re ready to go, we’re just waiting on the money.

Car of the future
Phase 2 of our project will be us selling comprehensive body kits, based on the 1 of 1 M3. The body kits will only change the external look of the car, including the front grille, lights, exhaust tips, rear diffuser, spoilers, etc. We’ll only need to sell 2000 of these at 500k each to make R600 000 000 Net profit. Profits from Phase 2 will fund Phase 3. Phase 3 is where we’ll attempt to build a Concept for the Car of the future. Brand named ‘Lion‘. We already have the concept on paper, including how it will look, all the features, what will make it special, etc but we know that without Phase 1, everything else is just a pipe-dream.

New concept for the grill
Many companies have attempted to improve it but the concept we have for it is so unique that even BMW will want to buy the concept from us and implement it on their cars When you see it you’ll be wondering why no one has thought of this before.
We’re bringing back buttons
We’re going back to analogue buttons. The screens look good but not every function needs to be behind a screen. Everything that takes the driver’s eyes away from the road, should be a button. We have some cool ideas for buttons and knobs.
New concepts for the headlights
We have a number of concepts for the lights. BMW lights used to be indimidating, that was really cool, wer’re going back in that direction. It will be a mix of the vintage look and the future. Picture a BMW M3 Driving through Cyberpunk 2077.
More than 10 unique features including Hardware upgrades
The car will look brand new every single year. Currently, cars only receive software upgrades. This one will receive hardware upgrades for 2 years. This will be the standard for all cars, going forward. A car that looks brand new, every year. We are not pimping the car, we are reimagining it.
Why the M3?
The M3 has a huge following all ove the world. Every BMW fan loves the M3. It’s a great car. That’s why we’ve chosen it for our project. Also, we know that if we get this right, we’ll get a lot of coverage on the socials, on Youtube, etc. More than 60 000 of these were sold. So we’ll be catering to a good number of enthusiasts. The main reason is the pure love we have for the car. It’s an amazing car and we believe we can push it even further.
